Charitable Contributions: Giving Back to the Community
Smiles for Life
For the past 12 years, New Image Dental has participated in the Smiles for Life teeth
whitening campaign raising funds for local children’s charities.
The Smiles For Life Foundation is the children’s charity arm of the Crown Council. Discus Dental (makers of ZOOM! teeth whitening and BriteSmiles trays) donates ALL of the whitening supplies, and participating Crown Council dentists donate ALL of their time.
Together, they offer professional teeth whitening services at substantially reduced prices (donations) with 100% of the proceeds going to charity.
San Diego Youth Services
Since 1998, we’ve raised over $27 million, benefiting hundreds of children’s charities.
We have chosen San Diego Youth Services as our local charity. We are able to donate half of all of our proceeds directly to our charity of choice.
San Diego Youth Services (SDYS) is a non-profit charitable organization that since founded, has stabilized the lives of over 500,000 homeless, runaway, abused and at-risk youth in the San Diego area. Launched in 1970 when volunteers established one of the first runaway youth shelters in America, SDYS now provides intensive services to more than 9,000 children and their families each year. This nationally recognized agency offers emergency services, safe places to live and long-term solutions for kids “on their own” by providing shelters, group homes, foster homes, community centers and transitional housing. Professional help for high risk youth is provided at all 15 major locations in San Diego County.
This past year New Image Dental presented SDYS with a check for $1825.00. Over the past 10 years, New Image Dental has raised over $45,000 helping youth.

Dr. Scott donates his time on a monthly basis to help treat the underprivileged at the UCSD Free Clinic in Downtown San Diego. As a graduate of UCSD, Dr. Scott enjoys providing dental care to patients in need while also mentoring and educating pre-dental students at UCSD.
