Using our ipad to help educate!!

We believe that educating our patients about their oral condition is one of the most important things we can do as healthcare providers.  Our dental language can be difficult to explain in patient friendly terms.  We recently started using a new ipad application that illustrates every possible dental condition and dental procedure that we can think of.  With the use of a sliding button, we can now show the patient the process of many dental procedures and dental diseases which ultimately allows our patients to understand their condition.  Pretty cool!!!

Beautiful Smile in One Visit!! – Cadsmiles @ New Image Dental

Look at the beautiful results we achieved in one visit using our cadsmiles technique!  Mr. Torres was not happy with the color mismatch of his existing crowns and he did not like the chipping that he had on the edges.  We were able to give him a new smile with a combination of whitening and two new crowns and two veneers.  Using our CAD/CAM Cerec technology along with the aesthetic artistry of our ceramist Eddie Corrales from Downtown Dental Designs, we are able to create our new crowns and veneers (cadsmile) within a couple hours.  We are able to design and achieve our desired results in a single visit!!! CadSmiles allows us to bring technology and artistry together in a single visit to create your veneers/crowns in a single visit.  Utilizing the CAD/CAM technology and the expertise of Drs. Strommer and Eddie Corrales, we are able to create your customized smile in a single appointment.

Drs. Scott and Leslie Strommer Selected as “Top Dentists” in San Diego Magazine for 2011!

San Diego Magazine will produce two health and wellness-related issues in 2011.  For their May issue, San Diego Health will provide tips and suggestions for a well-balanced and healthy lifestyle, as well as a listing of San Diego’s Top Dentists. San Diego Magazine is a 60-year old publication with a large local circulation. New Image Dental is proud to see Drs. Scott and Leslie Strommer honored by being included in this publication for 3 years in a row and have been selected again in 2011. Drs. Scott and Leslie Strommer will be included in the May issue in the “Top Dentists of San Diego” portion of the issue. The “Top Dentists” list is based on thousands of detailed evaluations of dental professionals by their peers.

New Image Dental Care specializes in sedation dentistry, as well as cosmetic and restorative dental procedures. Dr. Leslie Strommer’s focus is in cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign, having trained at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), and the Kois Center in Seattle. Dr. Scott Strommer specializes in implant, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Scott Strommer is a graduate of the Kois Center in Seattle, as well as the Ickert Teaching Centre in Vancouver Canada.  He has also completed a fellowship with the prestigious California Implant Institute in 2010.
